Ingredients
- 250 g chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 200 g egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, water, cornstarch, and black pepper until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes until golden and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the sauce into the pan and simmer until thick and sticky.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss well to coat evenly.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, stirring gently.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
- Adjust sweetness by increasing or reducing honey.
- Use rice noodles as a gluten-free alternative if needed.
