Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill or mint
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, grated onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, coriander, black pepper, salt, and parsley.
- Mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and flatten into oval smashed kebabs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook the kebabs for 3–4 minutes per side until well browned and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, mix yogurt, diced cucumber, lemon juice, and dill or mint.
- Season the yogurt sauce lightly with salt.
- Serve the hot kebabs with cucumber yogurt sauce on the side.
