Description

A sweet-and-salty holiday treat made with crispy Ritz crackers layered with caramel, chocolate, and festive toppings—easy, addictive, and perfect for gifting.


Ingredients

  • 4045 Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1/2 cup holiday sprinkles or crushed candy canes
  • Optional: white chocolate drizzle


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange Ritz crackers in a single layer, edge to edge, on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the hot caramel evenly over the crackers.
  5. Bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
  7. Let sit 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
  8. Top with sprinkles or crushed candy canes.
  9. Cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate until set.
  10. Break into pieces and serve.
