Description
Soft, fluffy cinnamon rolls swirled with creamy cheesecake filling and sweet peach compote for a fruity, rich, bakery-style treat.
Ingredients
- 1 can (12–16 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced peaches (fresh, canned, or frozen)
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tsp water (optional, for thickening)
- Icing from the cinnamon roll can or homemade glaze
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, cook peaches, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon over medium heat for 5–7 minutes until soft and syrupy. Thicken with cornstarch slurry if needed. Set aside to cool.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Unroll each cinnamon roll and spread a layer of cheesecake filling over the dough.
- Add a spoonful of peach mixture and gently roll back up.
- Place all rolls into the baking dish.
- Spoon remaining peach mixture over the top.
- Bake for 22–28 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
- Drizzle with icing while warm.
Notes
- Use canned peaches for the quickest prep.
- For extra richness, add a swirl of cheesecake filling on top before baking.
- Top with toasted pecans for crunch.
- Let rolls cool slightly before icing to prevent melting.
