Description

Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip chicken breasts into the beaten egg, then coat with the Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  6. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  7. Whisk in Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, simmering until sauce thickens.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
