Description

Nacho Cheese Beef Wraps are a bold, cheesy, and satisfying handheld meal filled with seasoned ground beef, creamy nacho cheese, and crunchy tortilla chips — all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. It’s the perfect quick lunch or dinner that tastes like your favorite Tex-Mex comfort food.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tablespoons homemade)
  • ½ cup water
  • ¾ cup nacho cheese sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • ½ cup crushed tortilla chips
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and add ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5–6 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Drain any excess grease, then stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  3. Stir in the nacho cheese sauce until well combined and creamy. Remove from heat.
  4. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 10–15 seconds to make them pliable.
  5. Assemble the wraps: Spoon some beef mixture down the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, crushed tortilla chips, and a dollop of sour cream if desired.
  6. Fold in the sides and roll tightly into a wrap.
  7. Optional: Toast the wraps in a skillet for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  8. Serve warm with extra nacho cheese or salsa for dipping.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, add jalapeño slices or diced onions inside the wrap.
  • Use ground turkey or chicken as a lighter alternative.
  • These wraps can be prepped ahead and grilled before serving.
  • Wrap leftovers in foil and refrigerate for up to 2 days — reheat in a skillet for best results.
