Description

A creamy, indulgent chicken dish made with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Parmesan, and herbs—so rich and flavorful it’s famously known as “Marry Me Chicken.”

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Simmer the sauce for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top.
  9. Reduce heat and simmer 10–12 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and sauce is creamy.
  10. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
  • Sun-dried tomatoes in oil give the best flavor.
  • Add spinach during the last few minutes for extra veggies.
  • Chicken thighs can be used for a juicier result.
