Description
Crispy golden waffles drizzled with rich Lindt squeezable hazelnut chocolate spread for a decadent breakfast or dessert treat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Lindt Squeezable Hazelnut Chocolate Spread (for topping)
- Fresh strawberries, bananas, or nuts (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
- Grease waffle maker lightly and pour batter, cooking until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove waffles and drizzle generously with Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread.
- Top with fresh fruit or nuts if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra indulgence, add a dollop of whipped cream before drizzling chocolate spread.
- You can keep waffles warm in a 200°F oven until ready to serve.
