Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Lindt Squeezable Hazelnut Chocolate Spread (for topping)
  • Fresh strawberries, bananas, or nuts (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat waffle maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
  5. Grease waffle maker lightly and pour batter, cooking until golden brown and crisp.
  6. Remove waffles and drizzle generously with Lindt Hazelnut Chocolate Spread.
  7. Top with fresh fruit or nuts if desired, and serve immediately.
