Description
Crispy golden chicken tenders cooked in the air fryer and drizzled with a sweet and spicy hot honey glaze, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner or game-day snack.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup regular breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil spray
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Set up breading station: place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and panko + breadcrumbs + garlic powder + paprika + salt + pepper in a third.
- Coat chicken tenders in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Arrange chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temp).
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, whisk honey, hot sauce, and melted butter until smooth.
- Drizzle hot honey glaze over chicken tenders or serve on the side for dipping.

- For extra crispiness, double-coat chicken with breadcrumbs.
