Description

Juicy Greek chicken burgers infused with Mediterranean herbs and spices, served on buns with fresh toppings and creamy tzatziki sauce for a refreshing twist on the classic burger.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1/2 cup cucumber slices
  • 1/2 cup tomato slices
  • 1/4 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley, dill, oregano, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Form mixture into 4 equal patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook patties 5–6 minutes per side, until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Toast burger buns lightly.
  5. Assemble burgers: Place chicken patty on bun, top with cucumber, tomato, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate chicken mixture for 30 minutes before shaping patties.
  • Serve with Greek salad or roasted potatoes for a complete meal.
  • Can substitute ground turkey for chicken if preferred.
