Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Meanwhile, season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
- In a bowl, mash avocados with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
- Spread avocado mixture on each crostini.
- Top with garlic shrimp and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
