Description

Garlic Shrimp Crostini with Avocado is a fresh and flavorful appetizer featuring juicy garlic-sautéed shrimp layered over creamy avocado on toasted baguette slices.


Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crisp.
  4. Meanwhile, season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.
  8. In a bowl, mash avocados with lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
  9. Spread avocado mixture on each crostini.
  10. Top with garlic shrimp and garnish with fresh parsley.
  11. Serve immediately.
