Description
A fast, flavor-packed dish featuring tender seared steak slices tossed with buttery garlic noodles for a rich, satisfying meal ready in minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 8 oz noodles (ramen, udon, or spaghetti)
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
- Season the sliced steak with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Add steak slices in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Simmer 1 minute.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
- Return the seared steak to the pan and toss everything together.
- Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
- Use ribeye for the most tender steak bites.
- Add broccoli or snap peas for extra veggies.
- For extra richness, add 1 more tablespoon of butter at the end.
- Works with rice noodles, ramen, or even udon.
