Description

A fast, flavor-packed noodle dish featuring tender seared steak tossed in a rich garlic butter sauce with savory seasonings for a quick, satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz noodles (ramen, spaghetti, or udon)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season sliced steak with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  4. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
  5. Lower heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
  6. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Simmer for 1 minute.
  8. Add cooked noodles and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce.
  9. Return steak to the skillet and mix well.
  10. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes if desired.

Notes

  • Use ribeye for a more tender, richer flavor.
  • Add broccoli or snap peas for extra vegetables.
  • For saucier noodles, add 1–2 tablespoons of water or broth.
  • Finish with an extra pat of butter for extra richness.
