  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add warm water, vegetable oil, vinegar, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
