Ingredients
- 4 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or use 2 chicken soups)
- ¾ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, prepare the stuffing mix according to package directions and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add shredded chicken (and vegetables if using) to the soup mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Top with prepared stuffing, spreading evenly over the chicken layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top for extra flavor and crispness.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly and the stuffing is golden brown.
