Description

Golden, crispy hashbrown bites mixed with savory sausage and melty cheese—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or an easy crowd-pleasing appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen shredded hashbrowns, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1/2 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or melted butter for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine hashbrowns, cooked sausage, cheddar cheese, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Scoop the mixture into the prepared muffin cups, pressing down slightly.
  5. Bake for 22–26 minutes, or until edges are golden and crispy.
  6. Cool for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan and serve warm.

Notes

  • Be sure to squeeze excess moisture from hashbrowns for crispier bites.
  • Swap cheddar for pepper jack for a spicy version.
  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes if preferred.
