Description

This Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a rich and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a luscious garlic parmesan cream sauce. Perfect for a cozy dinner, it pairs beautifully with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for another 3–4 minutes to absorb flavors.
  7. Stir in spinach if using, and cook until wilted.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor and texture.
  • You can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • For added flavor, add a splash of white wine when deglazing the pan.
  • This dish can be made ahead and reheated gently before serving.
