Description
A hearty and flavorful sandwich loaded with chopped chicken, crispy bacon, ranch dressing, lettuce, and tomatoes, all layered on toasted bread or rolls.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 4 sandwich rolls or hoagie buns
- 4 slices cheddar or provolone cheese (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter (for toasting rolls)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped chicken, crumbled bacon, and ranch dressing. Stir until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Butter the sandwich rolls lightly and toast them in a skillet or oven until golden.
- If using cheese, place a slice on the bottom half of each roll and let it melt slightly.
- Layer the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture evenly onto each roll.
- Top with shredded lettuce and tomato slices.
- Close the sandwiches, slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Rotisserie chicken works perfectly for this recipe.
- For a spicy kick, add buffalo sauce to the ranch mixture.
- Sandwiches can also be served on wraps or ciabatta bread.
