Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF).
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the filling into the unbaked pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40โ45 minutes until the top is golden and the center is set but slightly gooey.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Do not overbake to keep the center soft.
- You can use dark or milk chocolate chips.
