Description

Chicken Bubble Biscuit Bake Casserole is a creamy, cheesy, and comforting family favorite made with tender chicken, flaky biscuit pieces, and a rich sauce. It’s an easy, hearty casserole that bubbles with flavor — perfect for busy weeknights or potluck dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stir in the shredded chicken and 1 cup of the cheese.
  4. Add the biscuit pieces to the bowl and gently stir until they’re coated with the sauce mixture.
  5. Pour everything into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and parsley (if using).
  7. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm and bubbly!

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for convenience and extra flavor.
  • Try adding cooked bacon, peas, or mixed vegetables for variety.
  • Make it spicy by adding a dash of hot sauce or using pepper jack cheese.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat in the oven for best texture.
