- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup cooked chicken breast, diced
- 3/4 cup Alfredo sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a 6-inch circle.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken with Alfredo sauce, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edges.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape and crimp the edges firmly with a fork.
- Lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
- Place calzones in the air fryer basket (do not overcrowd) and cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown.
- Remove, garnish with parsley if desired, and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
- You can add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor.
- Ensure edges are well sealed to prevent filling from leaking.
