Description
Cheesy Garlic Rolls are soft, fluffy bread rolls brushed with garlic butter and loaded with melted cheese, perfect as a side dish or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add flour, salt, and melted butter; mix and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll dough into small balls and place in a greased baking dish.
- Mix butter and garlic, then brush over the rolls.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use cheddar or a cheese blend if preferred.
- Serve warm for best texture.
