Description
Cheesecake Factory Shrimp Scampi is a restaurant-style pasta dish featuring juicy shrimp tossed with linguine in a rich garlic butter lemon sauce, finished with Parmesan for a luxurious yet easy homemade meal.
Ingredients
- 300 g linguine or spaghetti
- 400 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2โ3 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sautรฉ for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer for 3โ4 minutes.
- Add red pepper flakes if using.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat.
- Add cooked pasta and gently toss until well combined.
- Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
- Reserve some pasta water if you want a looser sauce.
- Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
