Description

Cheesecake Factory Shrimp Scampi is a restaurant-style pasta dish featuring juicy shrimp tossed with linguine in a rich garlic butter lemon sauce, finished with Parmesan for a luxurious yet easy homemade meal.


Ingredients

  • 300 g linguine or spaghetti
  • 400 g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp lightly with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add shrimp and cook for 2โ€“3 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sautรฉ for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer for 3โ€“4 minutes.
  7. Add red pepper flakes if using.
  8. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat.
  9. Add cooked pasta and gently toss until well combined.
  10. Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overcook shrimp to keep them tender.
  • Reserve some pasta water if you want a looser sauce.
  • Serve with garlic bread or a fresh salad.
