Description
A hearty, family-friendly casserole that combines cheesy tortellini, savory pepperoni, rich marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella for all the flavors of pizza in an easy baked pasta dish.
Ingredients
- 20 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions until just al dente; drain well.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked tortellini, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the pepperoni.
- Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Add olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms for extra pizza flavor.
- Use turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
- Serve with a side salad or garlic bread.
