Description

A hearty, family-friendly casserole that combines cheesy tortellini, savory pepperoni, rich marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella for all the flavors of pizza in an easy baked pasta dish.


Ingredients

  • 20 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook tortellini according to package instructions until just al dente; drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked tortellini, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Stir in half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the pepperoni.
  5. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni.
  7. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Add olives, bell peppers, or mushrooms for extra pizza flavor.
  • Use turkey pepperoni for a lighter option.
