Description

Soft Hawaiian rolls filled with layers of savory ham and melted cheese, baked with a buttery honey-mustard glaze for the perfect party-friendly sliders.

Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound sliced deli ham
  • 1012 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
  3. Place the bottom half in the baking dish. Layer the ham evenly over the rolls.
  4. Add Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham, then place the top half of the rolls back on.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and salt.
  6. Brush the glaze generously over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 8–10 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
  9. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Swap Swiss for provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack for extra flavor.
  • To make ahead, assemble sliders and refrigerate; add glaze just before baking.
  • Great for parties, game day, or easy weeknight dinners.
