Soft Hawaiian rolls filled with layers of savory ham and melted cheese, baked with a buttery honey-mustard glaze for the perfect party-friendly sliders.
Ingredients
- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pound sliced deli ham
- 10–12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the entire block of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom half in the baking dish. Layer the ham evenly over the rolls.
- Add Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham, then place the top half of the rolls back on.
- In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and salt.
- Brush the glaze generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 8–10 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Swap Swiss for provolone, cheddar, or pepper jack for extra flavor.
- To make ahead, assemble sliders and refrigerate; add glaze just before baking.
- Great for parties, game day, or easy weeknight dinners.
