A quick and easy breakfast casserole made with just biscuits, eggs, and cheese for a fluffy, hearty, and satisfying morning meal.
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) can refrigerated biscuits, cut into pieces
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9ร13-inch baking dish.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters and spread evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the biscuit pieces.
- Pour the whisked eggs evenly over the biscuits and cheese.
- Bake for 25โ30 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Add cooked sausage, bacon, or ham to make it heartier.
- Use any cheese you prefer such as mozzarella or pepper jack.
- Serve with salsa or hot sauce for extra flavor.
